“Food is a celebration. Cooking food, eating together, and having a conversation is a moment to bring people together. I call my dining table a dining table for peace because we never fight during meals together.” — Shandra

In this special-edition Cookbook Club cooking class, in partnership with Finish® and inspired by The League of Kitchens Cookbook, you’ll learn to make three new Indonesian recipes, including orak-arik sayuran, a beloved stir-fry of finely sliced green beans and carrots scrambled with eggs and finished with fragrant coconut oil. It’s a dish that Shandra remembers packed into her school tiffin.

This March, we’re partnering with Finish®, a Reckitt brand and global leader in the dishwasher detergents category, to celebrate the launch of New Finish® Ultimate Quantum with the Finish® Cookbook Club — a cooking series honoring beloved traditions while switching the way we care for our dishes. These special-edition classes blend hands-on recipe explorations with our instructors and smart, modern dish care featuring Finish®’s most advanced formula yet, with 50% more cleaning power* and and lower per wash costs than a market leading brand**.

Each guest will receive a special goody bag of Finish® products plus a signed copy of The League of Kitchens Cookbook. While this is a limited-edition collaboration, you’ll receive the full League of Kitchens Taste Of Workshop experience — just at a reduced price, thanks to our partnership with Finish®

Shandra’s warm and bubbly demeanor fills her kitchen before the first ingredient even hits the pan. Raised on the island of Java, with parents from two different Indonesian islands, she carries a culinary tradition shaped by thousands of years of spice trade, migration, and layered regional flavors.

Alongside orak-arik sayuran, you’ll make dadur jagung, crispy corn fritters dotted with shrimp and perfumed with lime leaves, and tahu telor, a golden tofu omelet layered with scallions and bean sprouts, and topped with a rich peanut sauce.

As you cook, Shandra will share the philosophy that defines her table: food is where peace lives. Tradition is honored. Every meal carries intention.

Limited to just 12 guests, this intimate workshop will fill quickly.
